The main objective of the ADBIS series of conferences is to provide a forum for the dissemination of research accomplishments and to promote interaction and collaboration between the database and information systems research communities from Central and East European countries and the rest of the world. The ADBIS conferences provide an international platform for the presentation of research on database theory, development of advanced DBMS technologies, and their advanced applications.
The ADBIS 2013 conference will be held in Genoa, the capital of Liguria, Italy. The conference will be organized by DIBRIS, Department of Informatics, Bioengineering, Robotics and System Engineering of the University of Genoa, Italy.
ADBIS 2013 will consist of regular sessions with technical contributions reviewed and selected by an international program committee, as well as of invited talks presented by leading scientists. The official language of the conference will be English.
This year ADBIS will be collaborating with VLDB, which is taking place in Riva del Garda, Trento, right before ADBIS, in order to facilitate the participation in both conferences, through a number of travel grants. More information can be found here.
